Sports

ECS maintains an active sports program for the 7th through 12th grades to encourage team skills development, physical growth, and instill a healthy and balanced competitive spirit in our student-athletes.

We compete against other member schools in the West Virginia Christian Education Association (WVCEA). Our current sports programs are listed below, and may change from time to time as opportunities arise and student participation numbers allow. While girls basketball is not currently offered at ECS, our 2006 team won the WVCEA championship, and our cheerleading squad has won the WVCEA cheering championship numerous times. All of our teams have enjoyed great successes and our student-athletes have been honored individually and as teams many times for exemplifying Christian character during various tournaments.
